{Stonehenge}
You like rocks?
Because I like rocks.

Saturday was filled with adventures of all sorts. We spent this beautiful (and sun filled) day traveling to see Stonehenge and the city of Bath.
Everything about Stonehenge strikes me as strange. The ride to get there was simply magnificent. I finally got to see the rolling green hills of the English countryside. The entire drive there, I had such a desire to roam the hills with a dog by my side. Unfortunately Stonehenge is too too far to walk to....and my dog lives back in Michigan (not to mention that he would probably run away in the first few moments of being free of a leash).
Stonehenge is quite honestly in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by miles of sheep farms. They have the stones blocked off and so, much to my dismay, we were not allowed to touch the rocks.It's almost as if I couldn't quite grasp the fact that I was standing in front of Stonehenge. Touching the rocks would have helped me to solidify the fact that it was indeed right in front of me. Years from now, I'm certain, that I will look back at photos of my travels and feel so disconnected from the actual happenings of the trip. The sharpness of memories fade so quickly. I just hate it.
