{my heart is warm}
//From this past weekend, a collection of photos from my grandparents visit to GR//

our day consisted of
brunch at the Cherie Inn
&
a trip to the Fredrick Meijer Gardens

I learned of my grandmothers love for art. There was one particular art piece, within the Fredrick Meijer Gardens, that she was particularly drawn to. It was the most beautiful piece of glass work that we both had ever seen; it somewhat resembled an octopus. Never had I seen such an intrigued and enchanted glimmer in her eyes.
 I can only hope to be more like her one day.

{Grand Rapids, my love}
This city has grown to be something so dear to me
And so, I love the ability to share the beauty of the city with my family members

{picnicers}
Alas, we missed the sunset by minutes.
And yet, we still had the loveliest evening.

 {weekend o' visitors}
Up until this past weekend, our little 144 Valley Ave house has been pretty quiet. And then, all in one weekend, we housed a butt ton of visitors. Sometimes some lively commotion is a wonderful thing.
New faces are a good thing.
My wonderful sister gifted me with her presence this weekend//and although I had to spend a great deal of the weekend writing a paper, it was wonderful to get to spend some time with her, Steven and Lukas.
We:
enjoyed a Soil & The Sun show
porch sat
drank tea
laughed
raided the farmers market
ate and ate
