Today was a long and unyielding day of classes; beginning at nine and ending at five. Two of my classes are quite trivial and therefore I shall spare you with their uninteresting details. There is however, one course that I am taking that is worth mentioning; mostly because I've never felt so moved on the first day of a class. I remember signing up for this class with little hesitation or thought as to how it may affect me; emotionally and mentally. Dramatic as it may seem, I have  a heartfelt feeling that each class period will be as awe stuck and church silent as it was today during our very first class period.
I'm taking a course on the Holocaust.

Our course includes photos and videos and quite possibly a presentation from a Holocaust survivor. How silly of me to think that this class would just be another fact filled history course.
How silly, indeed.
