{Scotland part one}
so many things and not enough words; perhaps there never will be enough words to adequately explain Edinburgh. A dictionary of words couldn't be of assistance.
I'm not quite sure if I have ever deemed any place as my absolute favorite...until now.
Edinburgh is an impeccable combination of an ancient city, rolling snowy topped mountains, blooming hills and fresh sea.

My dear grammygrams and mum...these shoes were a great gift...they've gotten me from London to Paris and from Paris to Scotland.

The North Sea. It felt so wonderful to breathe in it's blissful breezes and to collect a few seashells.

mountains, mountains, mountains

silly little turdy birdy

We were dying to see the Scottish highlands. As we were planning for our trip, we were talking with Rai about her previous trip to the Scottish Highlands. We told her we were just planning on taking a bus up to the Highlands and hiking around a bit. Her response was something to the effect of "you guys can't just take a bus there and hike around...seriously"
Little did we know how grand and vast the highlands actually were.

And so, we embraced the tourist ways for a day and we took a bus tour through the Highlands (from Edinburgh to Loch Ness....were Nessie lives.) It was magnificent.
