One of the classes I am taking is called British Life and Culture and it basically consists of us taking various field trips around Britain. Friday turned out to be a beautiful day to visit the houses of parliament. We got to see and learn about the two houses of Parliament (The House of Commons and The House of the Lords.) Our tour guide was this wonderful little spitfire of a lady who had a lot of love and passion for Parliament. She was wonderful. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take any photos inside Parliament, but I took loads of photos from the rest of our day!
Our second stop for the day was at the Globe Theater...which is a recreation of Shakespeare's original theater (that burned down in 1613.)
I fall more and more in love with this place with every new thing I discover. I'm soaking up every moment of every beautiful English day.
