I awoke to a snowy British wonderland; and a wonderland it tis indeed.
My host mum was out and about today attending a some sort of French exhibit (more to come on this lovely woman later) and so I had the day to myself, to do as I pleased.
Yesterday, Marie took me into the city of Surbiton (more to come on that as well), and so today I decided that it was a good adventure for me to try and get there myself. I walked the winding streets while I was surrounded by, not only a thick white blizard, but more importantly, handfuls of Brits. Without fail, I'm constantly taken aback when someone speaks to me in an english accent. Sure, I've traveled abroad before, but this is somehow different. These people essentially speak the same language as me, but they sound so impeccably different.
New words that I have added to my vocabulary: Posh and Cheers.

I was walking down this lovely Surbiton road and I just happened to hear someone yell my name. I looked up...and there was little Blaire. She was on her way to see me (which I didn't know) and somehow we ran into each other. It was a great moment. I spent the rest of my day with this lovely lady.
